Rebecca Propes, face of @rebeccadiy, turns a tiny space into a bold, color-drenched office, complete with crisp pinstripes and big personality.

Supplies Needed:

    Prep the Space

Start by clearing the space and covering the floor with drop cloths or plastic sheeting. Next, wipe down the walls, ceiling and baseboards to remove dust and dirt for better adhesion.

    Measure Out Tape Edges

Use the width of FrogTape Advanced™ Painter's Tape to make vertical stripes on your walls. To ensure straight lines, Rebecca used a level. Make sure to press the painter's tape firmly along the edges to prevent paint bleed.

  • Woman using a paint roller to paint a wall orange brown. She is painting over stripes of FrogTape Advanced on the walls

    Paint the Stripes

Due to having textured walls, Rebecca added a layer of the base color to ensure crisp paint lines. Then, she used a small roller to paint the main color over the base color to create the stripes.

  • FrogTape Advanced being peeled off of a wall to reveal crisp striped paint lines

    Remove Tape

Peel the tape off carefully while the paint is still slightly wet for clean lines.

    Finishing Touches

To complete this project, paint the bottom half of the wall a contrasting color, and color-drench the trim and baseboards. When finished, reinstall the baseboards and wall trim. When finished, reinstall the baseboards and wall trim. Rebecca used some FrogTape® Delicate Surface Painter’s Tape to hold the trim on the painted surface as she nailed it.

Then, admire your hard work and new decorative wall!
