Upgrade Your Brick Fireplace with Whitewash
- FrogTape® Painter's Tape
- White Latex Paint
- Paint Brush
- Stirring Stick
- Clean Cotton Rags
- Drop Cloth
- Mixing Cup
- 1 Gallon Empty Paint Bucket
- Dish Soap
Clean your brick with dish soap, water and cloth or a rag.
Apply FrogTape Painter's Tape to all surrounding surfaces to prevent any paint bleeds.
Mix equal parts paint with water in a bucket. Adjust mixture until you get the look you want.
Brush on the whitewash, first on the grout lines, then on the bricks. Wipe the wet bricks and grout with a clean cloth as you go.
While the paint is still wet, remove the painter's tape.
Sit back, relax and enjoy your updated fireplace!
