Moody Powder Room

Bong Bain took inspiration from 2024 Design Trend "Wainscot Just a Minute" to add a bold painted wainscot in her bathroom.

To create a wainscot with a modern twist, Bong Bain, from Wild Hearts Home, uses a few MDF boards, FrogTape and a bold paint color which results in a subtle yet unique upgrade to her bathroom.

    Cove Molding

    Cove molding installation adds a touch of sophistication. Install boards with nail gun. Use glue on walls where there may be plumbing.

  • Fill nail holes and add caulking

    Preparation Details

    Meticulously filling nail holes and caulking seams for a polished look.

  • Taping off areas to protect

    Frogtape® to Protect

    Use FrogTape® to tape off where you won’t be painting.

    Hand brush small areas and cove molding.

  • complete the look with a second coat of paint

    Watch your space come to life with a second coat of paint.Remove Frogtape when complete.
