Mastering Wall Stripes

To add some fun in her space, Becky George, from @styledbybeck, transforms the room by adding bold stripes to her wall.

Supplies Needed:   

  • Vertical Stips of FrogTape Advanced on the right side of a white wall. There is a ladder and brown wainscotting

    Prep & Add Tape

    First, select which wall you want to have the design on. Then, use FrogTape Advanced™ Painter's Tape to make long vertical lines down the wall.

    Add the First Coat

    Paint over the stripes with two coats of your base paint. This will prevent paint bleed and create clean lines.

    Paint the Stripes

    Once your base coat has dried, it is time to start painting the stripes. Paint two coats of the stripe color of your choosing.

    Peel off Tape

    Finally, peel off the tape when the paint is slightly wet for sharp lines. Now, enjoy the fresh upgrade in your room.
