Dining Room Transformation

DIYer Lindsey got inspired and brought new life to her dining room with clean lines and tranquil colors.

Supplies Needed

  • Woman on a step ladder painting the ceiling trim white.

    Painting

To achieve this look, Lindsey recommends to paint your room from top to bottom and from light color to dark. Use a flat paint sheen and apply the paint with a roller and extension pole. Then take an angled brush to trim around the edge of the walls. Pro Tip - If your trim color is lighter than the wall color, you will want to paint the trim before your walls.

  • Green FrogTape Multi-Surface Painter's Tape masked on the trim of the white wainscotting on a wall.

    Apply Tape

Apply FrogTape® Multi-Surface Painter's Tape along the trim in the room to achieve sharp paint lines. Apply two coats of satin or eggshell paint color. And, remove the tape while the paint is still wet for best results.
