To get started, measure the wall you want to paint the ticking stripes on. Then, decide how many stripes you want in your pattern and how many sets of stripes you want on the wall. (Brooke chose five stripes in her pattern.)

Starting in the exact center of your wall, make a vertical pencil line with your level. Then, apply rows of FrogTape® Painter's Tape vertically on your wall until you have 10 strips. Next, take off every other row of tape to expose the wall where you will paint.

Don't forget to tape off your baseboards and ceiling!

Wrapping Up

Finally, fill your foam roller with paint of your choosing and paint your first coat. After the paint is dry to the touch, apply your second coat.

Tip: Remove the rest of the FrogTape® Painter's Tape when your paint is still wet.
